What we clean

Everything here is done in your home — there is no shop and nothing gets taken away. Most visits combine two or three of these, because the furniture is already being moved and a clean carpet under a grey sofa makes the sofa look worse than it did before.

Carpet cleaning in North Jersey homes

We clean carpet by hot-water extraction — the machine heats and injects cleaning solution into the pile, then pulls it back out along with the soil that was holding on to it. That is what lifts the grey traffic lane down the middle of a hallway, and it is the only method that removes what a vacuum packs down instead of picking up.

  • Wall-to-wall carpet in bedrooms, hallways and living rooms
  • Carpeted stairs, treads, risers and stringers
  • Traffic lanes, entryways and landings

Sofa and upholstery cleaning

We clean fabric and leather upholstery in the home: sofas, sectionals, armchairs, recliners, ottomans and dining chairs. Fabric is cleaned by a low-moisture method — enough solution to release the soil, not enough to soak the padding underneath — and we test an unseen part of the fabric before anything touches the cushion you sit on.

  • Fabric sofas, loveseats and sectionals
  • Leather sofas and chairs — cleaned and conditioned
  • Recliners and armchairs

Area and oriental rug cleaning

A rug is not a piece of carpet that happens to be loose. Wool, viscose, cotton, silk blends and machine-made synthetics each need a different amount of water, a different pH and a different amount of agitation, and using carpet settings on a hand-knotted wool rug is how dyes bleed and fringes turn grey.

  • Hand-knotted and hand-tufted wool rugs
  • Oriental and Persian-style rugs
  • Machine-made synthetic area rugs

Mattress cleaning

A mattress collects skin cells, sweat and dust mites for years, and unlike every other soft surface in the house it never gets washed — the sheets do, the mattress does not. We clean it in place with a low-moisture method: a HEPA-filtered pass to lift what is loose, treatment for stains and odour, then extraction that removes the soil without soaking the foam underneath.

  • All mattress sizes, in place, on the bed
  • Dust mites, skin cells and allergen reservoirs
  • Sweat, body oil and yellowing

Water damage drying and restoration

After water gets into a floor, the clock matters more than anything else. Extraction and drying in the first day or two is the difference between carpet and padding that can be saved and a floor that has to come out — and it is what decides whether mould gets started at all.

  • Burst pipes, appliance leaks and overflowing fixtures
  • Water extraction from carpet and padding
  • Drying and dehumidifying until materials read dry
