Pequannock is a township in Morris County, New Jersey, incorporated in 1798, with 15,571 residents at the 2020 census. Pompton Plains Railroad Station (1872) and Mandeville Inn (1788) are here. Incorporated in 1798 as 'Pequanack Township,' one of New Jersey's original townships under the Township Act of that year. George Washington's and the Comte de Rochambeau's troops camped here during the Revolutionary War; the Giles Mandeville House was a documented Underground Railroad stop. It borders Kinnelon, Lincoln Park, Riverdale, Pompton Lakes (Passaic County), Wayne (Passaic County).
