It is the smallest municipality ever to host a Super Bowl (XLVIII) and hosts the Federal Reserve Bank of New York's East Rutherford Operations Center, which destroys about 5 million currency notes a day. It borders Carlstadt, Wallington, Rutherford, Secaucus, Passaic.
