Hasbrouck Heights is a borough in Bergen County, New Jersey, incorporated in 1894, with 12,125 residents at the 2020 census. Hasbrouck Heights High School is here. Known as Corona from the mid-1800s; the name was changed in 1889, over local opposition, to honor Jacob Dillon Hasbrouck, general manager of the New Jersey and New York Railroad, with "Heights" appended to avoid confusion with a similarly named community in upstate New York. The borough was created from Lodi Township on August 2, 1894 at the height of "Boroughitis", and part of it was annexed back to Lodi in 1901. It borders Hackensack, Lodi, Moonachie, Teterboro, Wood-Ridge.
