About our service in Chatham Borough
Chatham Borough is part of our Morris County service area, and our technicians cover the whole municipality.
9,212 residents across 2.34 square miles, which in practice means a mix of housing rather than one kind, so the useful question when you call is what is on your floor, not what the town is like. We come to the property, there is no shop and nothing to drop off, and we book at any hour.
Chatham is a borough in Morris County, New Jersey, incorporated in 1897, with 9,212 residents at the 2020 census. Stephen Day House, Crane House, Day-Munn House, William Day House, and Peter Dusenberry House (historic structures) and Chatham railroad station and downtown Main Street are here. Locally it is read by its sections, Chatham Village, Haaside, Manor Section, Manor Woods, Mansion Row, Mount Stanley, and a job is quoted on the one you are in rather than on the town line. Named after William Pitt, 1st Earl of Chatham (1773); first incorporated as a village on August 19, 1892, then reincorporated as a borough on March 1, 1897. 2021 median household income was $209,283, and 2022 median home value was $944,600. It borders Chatham Township, Madison, Florham Park, Summit (Union County), Millburn/Short Hills (Essex County).
The housing in Chatham
Borough was mostly built out well before World War II. Surviving colonial/Revolutionary-era homes include the Paul Day House and the Nathaniel Bonnell House. The age of a stock decides the method before anything else does: wool and fitted runners want controlled moisture and a dye test, synthetic pile over a pad takes a straight extraction.
Water damage in Chatham Borough
Passaic River flows along the eastern boundary; historically used as a river crossing point. Great Swamp extends to the borough's southern boundary; the community helped preserve it as a National Wildlife Refuge in 1960, blocking a proposed jetport. Carpet that has been wet has a clock on it: caught early most of it returns with a new pad, left standing it becomes a question about mold instead.

Questions
Questions from Chatham Borough customers
Question 1: Do you cover Chatham?
Yes. Chatham is inside the normal Morris County round, along with Chatham Township, Madison, Florham Park. All services are performed at the property, and bookings are taken at any hour.
Question 2: Can the sofa be cleaned on the same visit in Chatham Borough?
Yes, in the room it lives in. The fabric is tested somewhere hidden first, then cleaned with the same heated solution and extraction as the carpet. Carpet is walkable in about two hours, a fabric sofa takes four to eight.
Question 3: Does the age of the houses in Chatham change anything?
It changes the method. Borough was mostly built out well before World War II, and a stock of that kind decides whether a floor wants controlled moisture and a dye test or a straightforward hot-water extraction. We identify the fibre before anything gets wet, every time.
Question 4: A pipe let go and the carpet is soaked. Can it be saved in Chatham Borough?
It is decided under the carpet rather than on top of it. The face dries long before the pad does, and the gap between the two is where odor and mold start, so drying is confirmed with a moisture meter. Drying stops when the materials read dry, not when the room looks finished.

We used Carpet Cleaning Wizards to remove dog urine from a large area carpet. Jacob was timely in arrival, professional and friendly. He was efficient in taking care of the job and very pleasant while doing it. Would recommend this business.

There was a big difference in the living room rugs. Extraction brought out layers of dirt. Nearly invisible stains remain. Completely happy.
Rachel Mitchell · Living room rugs · 7 April 2026 · Google
Bob was great. He communicated clearly what the job would entail and was honest about what stains could not be 100% removed. Was happy with the service. The carpets looked brand new again!
