Westfield is a town in Union County, New Jersey, incorporated in 1798, with 31,032 residents at the 2020 census. Robinson's Branch flows through the southern portion. The old village that is now downtown was settled in 1720 as part of the Elizabethtown Tract. Incorporated as a township in 1798 and reincorporated as a town in 1903.
